Last Week in Review
- Last Saturday, 28 members of our Diverse Communities and Latino Engagement Teams gathered for an engaging training session titled "Presenters in the Making."
- October is Fire Prevention Month and our volunteers, Marty and Leanne, were excited to be part of the Scarsdale Fire Dept Fire Day on Saturday to help promote the home fire campaign and also teach hands only CPR.
- Last Thursday, our volunteers visited the 86th floor of the Empire State Building today in support of the building shining red for the communities affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. ABC7 covered the ceremony. Volunteer Kevin Suttlehan captured the event with his wonderful photos.
- News 12 sat down with Sean Maclean to follow up with him after his 2-week deployment to North Carolina.
- GNY volunteer Sean McNearney has been sharing what his experience has been like in Florida working on the feeding operation.

- For World Restart a Heart Day, we shared the story of how Paul Miller saved a patron’s life at the 14th Street Y 4 days after he completed his CPR and First Aid training.
