- Our regional CEO, Doreen Howe, is on her way to Florida to support the Red Cross response to Hurricane Milton.
- Thanks to 45 of our local team members who have deployed to support Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton like Lynne Franzone, Thomas Reed, Vivian Moy, Matthew Hodgins, Brian Gerber and Sean MacLean (both interviewed by News 12).
- Last Sunday, Metro New York North Red Cross were at the Cos Cob Fire station and Long Island Red Cross attended the Brentwood Fire Department open house to promote fire safety for the start of Fire Prevention Week.
- 90.3 WHPC, the voice of Nassau Community College recently interviewed Long Island Red Cross CEO Jose Dominguez.
- Continuing our celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we featured Sara Cabezas, who can be seen regularly volunteering at the chapter HQ.
- We shared more photos from our We Were There panel discussion on mobilizing partners last month and the link to the livestream.
- Megan Van Thomme and Phil Glaser are running the NYC Marathon as part of Team Red Cross to benefit our mission!
