- Assemblymember Steven Raga thanked the Red Cross for assisting six families after on 37th Rd in Woodside, Queens. NY1, New York Daily News, and ABC7 reported on the fire.
- Last Saturday, NY Post, PIX 11, NY1, UPI and CBS News reported that the Red Cross helped 22 adults and 10 children after a 5-alarm fire in Queens Village.
- Volunteer Rick Gunter and the SAF team supported the Heroes on the Hudson kayaking event for wounded vets.
- We hosted our inaugural Greenwich Battle of the Clubs Blood Drive, at the Jill and John Coyle Blood Donor Center in Greenwich last Thursday.
- Last Tuesday, the Rockland Daily tweeted about the Metro NY North Red Cross gathering in Nyack to witness the Gov. Mario Cuomo Bridge lit in red to support the Five Towns of Rockland Blood Drives Challenge.
- We kicked off the Five Towns of Rockland Blood Drive Challenge at Finkelstein Memorial Library with Senator Bill Weber and Town of Ramapo Supervisor Michael Specht! News 12 Lower Hudson Valley reported on the challenge and the Rockland News later reported Orangetown had taken the lead.
