- Red Cross staff and volunteers gathered and proudly marched in the NYC Pride Parade.
- On Sunday, ABC7NY reported on a Brooklyn fire where Red Cross provided financial and housing assistance.
- On Saturday, Long Island Red Cross volunteers trained at our Shelter Simulation Workshop in preparation for the upcoming hurricane season.
- Être Girls founder and author Illana Raia interviewed Carolina Herrera’s president Emilie Rubinfeld at the American Red Cross launch of Clara’s Council on Tuesday. See more photos here.
- Earlier in the week, we held a virtual Hands-Only CPR training event via Zoom.
- International Humanitarian Law instructor, Kylia Van Wyk shared her inspiring story about how she came to work with the Red Cross.
- Last week, Jose Dominguez, Executive Director of American Red Cross Greater New York, presented GNYADA with a plaque for the $100,000 donation made by the association to assist in our Ukrainian Relief efforts.
