Over the last seven days, the Greater New York Red Cross provided emergency assistance to 74 adults and 37 children for 51 local disaster responses. Here are some highlights from last week and a preview of upcoming activities. (See below)

- Last Saturday, our team members honored our nation’s heroes by laying down wreaths at Long Island National Cemetery as part of National Wreaths Across America Day.

- We had our first major winter storm in the Greater New York region, and we shared several safety tips just ahead of it.
